About the position

Our client

Our client is a pioneering technology company that offers seamless parking and EV charging experiences through a unique digital ecosystem. Their platform integrates reservable parking and charging with various parking locations, all managed via a cloud-based operating system. They partner with customer-focused brands to provide drivers with a digital, reliable, and frictionless experience, reducing wasted time, emissions, and stress.

Why our client is hiring for this position/mission

They are expanding the team and looking for a seasoned and multi-faced engineer that can work with Ruby, Golang and the frontend (React.js is preferred)

Requirements

Frontend Experience:

Proficiency in React and TypeScript; experience with Vue.js is acceptable if TypeScript is used. Experience with Redux is necessary for managing state in the frontend.

Backend Experience:

Strong proficiency in Ruby and Golang, with a preference for more experience in Ruby. Senior-level experience in Ruby is essential since most of the data is managed in Ruby. At least 1 year of experience with Golang is required, with more seniority in Ruby balancing this. Ability to work across both Ruby and Golang backends, ideally splitting time 50/50 between frontend and backend tasks.

Database Knowledge: Proficiency in PostgreSQL is mandatory; DynamoDB experience is a plus but not required.

Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS is preferred, though not mandatory due to a dedicated DevOps team.

Seniority: A minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant roles is expected.

Adaptability: Ability to "jump around" and switch between different technologies and tasks as needed.
