¿Qué vas a hacer?

The Country Manager will expand and grow our brand in Mexico, while overseeing the initial operations of a designated market.

- Layout and implement medium and long-term country strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets for achieving brand and business targets within the country.
- Create a strong brand awareness for each of our target markets and locations. Arrive in a new city and establish our operations on every street corner in just a few months, if not days.
- Develop, structure and close local partnerships with predominant brands and merchants in order to establish our marketing strategy.
- Create an advertising plan to make strategic recommendations on media channels and investment levels in order to optimize our marketing impact and efficiency.
- Work directly with our corporate team to define and achieve critical business and product milestones. Align with the technology and product development teams to prioritize and develop what is needed to operate most efficiently.
- Create and monitor a playbook to successfully launch within a city or new location, while maximizing efficiency and performance.
- Represent the brand by constantly being a positive image of our vision and direction in the press, during launch events, at conferences and while navigating media interactions.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in marketing or business management.
- Native Spanish speaker, fluent in English.
- Knowledge of Portuguese is also a plus.
- Availability to travel.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, media management, and public relations. Start-up or tech experience within a fast-paced environment.
- Marketing experience with a proven track-record of domestic management and/or working in a general management or marketing role in a digital company/agency.
- Getting stuff done: our future Country Managers will need to have the ability to get a lot of things done in a short period of time. We are looking for someone with a gutsy attitude, who will be confident in working with limited resources and under tight deadlines, and who will not be afraid of going out into the field on the ground level.

- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to form and maintain enduring professional relationships, while working well in an international or remote team environment.
- Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with innate curiosity to try and test new things with a hands-on mentality to get things done and produce results.
- A strong grasp of cultural trends and a good understanding of our targets.
- Someone who has the ability to market our brand to the top merchants in a given region.
- A high productivity mentality: we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is comfortable working with limited resources and under tight deadlines. Someone who can thrive in an unknown environment and is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty.
